Former CS Eliud Owalo donates tracksuits to Kakamega Homeboys

Former ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo today, August 9th, 2024 donated 30 sets of tracksuits to Kakamega Homeboys FC at an event held at Kakamega High School in Kakamega.

The kits, courtesy of the Eliud Owalo Foundation, which the former CS is patron, were presented to the chairman of Kakamega Homeboys FC Cleophas Simanyula; the Technical Bench led by Team Manager Boniface Imbenzi and the playing unit led by Captain Moses Mudavadi. Also present was Kakamega High School Principal Dr. Julius Mambili

Over the years, Eliud Owalo has served worthy causes. He has partnered with local communities in socio-economic activities as agents of real change.

Owalo has been involved with people-centered political, social and economic causes. His ultimate objective is a better, fairer, equitable and all-inclusive society.

Sports teaches work ethic, goal setting, leadership, teamwork, and more importantly how to handle things when they don’t go your way. Owalo is a man very passionate about sports in Kenya.

During the event, Owalo was accompanied by former Kenyan soccer internationals Austin Oduor “Makamu”; Aggrey Lukoye; Peter Dawo; Dan Musuku; George Onyango “Fundi”; Washington Muhanji; David Ochieng “Kamoga”; James Goro Oronge; Dennis Munyendo; Isaiah “Janabi” Omondi; Benard Musuku; Micke Otieno and Gerald Omollo “Chonjo”.
