“I never thought I’d see the day when opportunities would come knocking at our doors so swiftly,” said Mrs. Fatuma Hajji, a local entrepreneur whose business has flourished under Udgoon’s support initiatives.

Fatuma Haji is the founder of a Small Medium Enterprise business in Garissa.
Since assuming office in the last general election, Mrs. Udgoon, a political newcomer, has been on a relentless mission to transform Garissa County, challenging the notion that development must be slow and gradual.

“I never thought I’d have the chance to continue my studies,” said Aisha Osman, a beneficiary of the Women Representative’s bursary program.
Mrs. Osman said “but thanks to her, I can pursue my dreams without worrying about financial constraints.”

“She fights for us,” said Zakaria Ahmed, a community-based organization leader from Modogashe.
