Six star Sitambili cruise as Sakaja Super Cup final group matches cone to conclusion

Kibra Sub County’s Sitambila made good of their name as their made mincemeat out of  Uweza FC drubbing their neighborhood opponents 6-0 as the Sakaja Super Cup tournament groups came to the last match day action ahead of the final match week five. In a match played at Toi Primary School Grounds, Sitambili put six past Uweza in among the matches played today as the tournament came to its penultimate stage in the group stages.

In the same neighbourhood, Kibera Golden got the better of Mashimoni edging them by two goals to nil  as the Sub County’s group C saw InterBase Fc overcome Laini saba by 3 goals to 1. Katwekera all-stars were 2-0 better to Upper Karenin matches all palyed at Toi Primary grounds.

Elsewhere in  Starehe sub county, Flat Tornadoes won lost 3-2 to Riverbank at Landmawe grounds in a five foal thriller that attracted a huge crowd of fan. Flat Tornadoes drew the first blood as talisman Derrick Ajwang put the home side in front in the 10th minute before Mario Musyoti leveled Riverbank in the 19th minute. Calistus Shironye added a second in the 27th minute before Roberto Mahendo’s 39th minute strike nailed the Tornardoes’ coffin. Ken Mboya  adde a secong for Flat Tornadoes in the 70th minute.

Kawasaki benefitted from a walk over after Ziwani Allstars failed to honour their final fixture.

In Zone A, Ngara allstars settled to a 0ne all draw with Nairobi holding Unit  with goals from Kiprono Shanel in the 25th Minute and Zablon Mwera in the 35th Minute as Macmilan FC and Korogez drew 2-2.

In Embakasi north sub county, the Dandora rivalry ended with victories for Dandora Fullnesco who beat  Dandora derby 2-0 and Dandora Maono who won against Dandora Phase2 by a solitary goal. Kariobangi Sports won 2-1 against Dandora Hotspurs as Dandora Mamba faikled to produce a crocodile strike going down0-2 to Kariobangi Stars.

In another high scoring match, Jaba Fc outclassed Iraks Foundation 5-2 with goals from  Bonface Iganji and Braxton Omondi  for Iraks Foundation and Evans Onyango,

Over to Embakasi South Sub County Kamongo lost  1-2 to Sun City, Reuben United won 2-0 over Bokastars as Shofco Mukuru put 2-0 past Cyprus; Legends settled to a gruesome  2-2 with Corinthians while Morefire won 2- 1 against Young State after goals from Mwangi Boniface for Young State and  Stephen Wawira and Shadrack Omondi for More fire.

 In Ruaraka Sub-County, Baba Dogo United  overpowered Lucky Summer All Stars 2-1 as Ajax Rock City went down 0-2 to Korogocho United. . In Kasarani Leventis gave a merciless 4-0 beating to Midhill as Reliable Base and Terror Squad played out a barren draw. Mathre Flames beat Lucky Summer Warriors 1-0 in Ruaraka Sub-County as Team Unfit were fit against West life winning 2-1 in their Embakasi East zone C encounter. Bromley fc had a field day against Embakasi East Putting four goals past their opponents as Real Soweto and savanna boda played out a goalless draw. Babadogo Babes secured a 2-0 victory against Ruaraka sports.

At the Muhuri Muchiri grounds in Kasarani Sub County,  drama unfolded on match officials as both Amosanders  Fc and Maili Saba failed to honor their fixture as did Shirink Pack and Stamford.

Winners of the tournament sponsored by the Sakaja Foundation in partnership with the Nairobi City County government and Football Kenya Federation will win a Ksh 3 Million top prize as the runners up pocket 2 Million shillings. Third place finishers will win Ksh One million.
