The Kenya Pro-Aging Organization Chief Executive Officer who is founder of the Women for Peace and Development Lucy Mworia, has been recognized as one of the most influential women in Africa during the Turning Point Women’s Awards gala held in Nairobi on 7th March, 2025.
Held on the eve of the international women’s day, the event served as moment of deep reflection and gratitude as women with remarkable contribution to society were recognized.

uplifting marginalised communities, championing women’s rights, and fostering peace across Kenya and beyond, Mworia has stood out as a leader in society whose development legacy transcends boundaries.
