Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists&Dentist Union has asked medical workers to continue with the medical strike that was started on 13th of this month.

This comes after the government asked medical workers under this union to go back to work citing concerns over declining health services in the country.

The union stated that they are open to talks with the government and will not comply until their concerns are met.

The union SG said,”We want to make sure the rights of medical workers are met and they are well paid.We will only stop when we have a sit down with the government.”

He added,”We want to tell all medical workers that the strike is still on and we will not stop until we have a sit down with the government.

The Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists and Dentists Union was formed to fight for the rights of medical workers in the country.
