Black Mamba, 15 others advance from groups as Sakaja Super Cup group stages head to the wire

The Inaugural Sakaja Super Cup tournament has taken shape with teams from various Sub Counties advancing from the various pools as group stages wind up to throw the competition to the wire.
Black Mamba from Makadara highlight the first cluster of teams to make it out of the pools after topping their pool after the third round of matches.
All teams in groups that had four teams have finished their group campaigns with the top two teams advancing to the next round of quarter finals after which winners will advance to the semi finals and finals scheduled to be played in December.
In Makadara Sub County, Black Mamba and Bahati All Stars advanced from zone A while Maringo All Stars and Buruburu Sports emerged the top two teams from Zone B. Makadara Youth and A1000 Sportiff are the qualified teams from zone C as Michezo Halisi Kenya and Jericho All Stars topped zone D in the Sub County.

In Embakasi West Sub County, Alegzin FC and Sinto Charity topped Zone A in first and second places to advance to the next stage as Tena United finished their group matches on top of Zone B ahead of second placed Hope Sportiff. Zone C will be represented by UEFA Despanol and Mowlem United while in Zone D, Ten Daily and Katatenje FC were the top two teams to make it out of the group stages.
The Sub Counties Makadara and Embakasi West had groups consisting of four teams each and the qualified teams will now wait for the fourth round matches from the other sub counties before the next round draw is conducted as the competition now heads to the wire with teams meeting opponents from other sub counties en-route to the grand finale.
The Sakaja Super Cup kicked off with action bringing light to Nairobi grounds as teams battle it out for their chance to advance in group stages. Winners of the tournament sponsored by the Sakaja Foundation in partnership with the Nairobi City County government and Football Kenya Federation will win a Ksh 3 Million top prize as the runners up pocket 2 Million shillings. Third place finishers will win Ksh One million.
